The Walmsley family have been involved in property for over 80 years assisting families around the UK.
Albert Walmsley started the family’s passion for property in the early 1930s by building an estate in Laindon, Essex. This was several years before the village’s neighbour Basildon was created as a new town. Part of this estate still remains to this day. The picture to the left shows Albert Walmsley assisted by his wife Ivy in a local carnival in the early thirties.
Now the third generation of the family, Ian Walmsley, is continuing in his grandfather’s footsteps by offering an ethical property service to families. His passion for property and a desire to see homeowners treated fairly and honestly has helped many people realise the best potential for their house or garden.
Today, you can still call Ian directly and he will assist personally if required. All too often these days companies expect clients to deal with a faceless transaction. Ian is proud to use his surname for the business in the same way as his father and grandfather did in the decades and years past. The standards that Albert Walmsley had in the 1930s remain in place for every single client today.
However, sadly we can’t guarantee that you can still purchase a bungalow in Laindon for £360!
Should you wish to contact Ian directly, please use the contact us page, mark it to Ian’s attention and he will personally get back to you to assist.
Today, Walmsley Property can help in all aspects of property: from renovations to relocations, from supported sales to stopping repossessions, from leasehold to land, the team at Walmsley Property are here to help.
Walmsley Property are proud members of the Property Ombudsman Scheme.
